About Interpretation

Q: Why can’t I use the interpretation service?

The interpretation will be automatically enabled on the first day of the trip. If your departure day is changed, you can check “My package” from “My” page, and click “Change Departure Day” in the package list.

Q: Is the interpretation service provided by a machine?

The interpretation service is provided by our real interpretors around the world, providing you with online one-on-one video or voice translations.

Q: Why can’t I use Korean-Japanese translating?

Our current base setting is to help Chinese tourists solve problems such as language barriers while traveling abroad. You can set Chinese as the source language or as the target language. We will provide online one-on-one service to you.


Q: Is the interpretation service 24/7?

We provide the interpretation service from 9:00 to 21:00 (Taiwan Time) all year round. You are welcome to use our service/product during that time.

 

Q: What to do when there is no sound or video after calling?

We recommend you update to the latest version to ensure the best quality of voice and video.

 

Q: Is the interpretation a charged service?

Your interpretation service for the first call is a 3-min free trial. Meanwhile you may try out “Travel Concierge” for 24 hours. If you like our service, we recommend you purchase our package.

Q: Can I use interpretation in any kind of field, like academics or business?

Our concierge and interpretation service only provides travel consultations and help for inbound or outbound tourists. Thank you for using our services.

About Travel Concierge Service

Q: What countries does Concierge service support?

Currently our Concierge service covers Chinese tourists bound for Japan and Korea, and Japanese, Korean and English tourists bound for Taiwan. Also Interpretation supports Chinese, English, Japanese and Korea languages at present.

Q: What to do when I choose the wrong destination country?

You can choose “Switch Destination” in the upper right corner of “Concierge.” If you have any problem while using it, you can contact our customer service staff through “My”>”Customer Service.

Q: Is Concierge Service provided by a real person online?

TourTalk concierges have local life or work experience and are familiar with many languages. Any questions about the destination country’s tourism, we can provide you with advice and help. We look forward to your use.

Q: What do Concierge Services provide?

Our travel concierge provides tourism consultations on your destination countries, such as timetable advice, traffic guides, attraction presentations, restaurant reservation, language translation, emergency help and more. Anything about travel, you can talk to your exclusive concierge.

Q: How do I change my personal information?

You can click on “My Account” on “Me” page to enter the edit page.

Q: How to check the package I bought?

You can click on “My Package” on “Me” page to check the details of the package. In addition, you can click “Purchase Record” to learn more.

Q: How do I buy Concierge Service package?

You can click on “Buy Now” on “Me” page and select the appropriate service package to complete the purchase. We currently accept Alipay and Credit Card.

Q: What is the Redeem function?

If you already have a TourTalk voucher bought from other retailers, you can redeem your paid package now. Just click on the “Redeem Voucher” on “Me” page, enter your voucher code, and your package will be shown on the package list.
